My Story
Libyan Heritage 🇱🇾
Both sides of my family have an impressive heritage when it comes to football. In Libya, where me and my family come from, I have cousins and uncles playing professional (and in one case semi professional) football.
One of my earliest football memories is actually watching my uncle play for Al-Ittihad Tripoli on TV with my family in Tripoli, Libya around 2015. Another one was when that same uncle lied about me being 2 years older when I was 7 so that i could train with his team. He told them I was born in 2006, as that was the minimum. Good times.
My Time In The United Kingdom 🇬🇧
Back in the UK, I joined Super Eagles Futsal, a team in Leeds, UK, and stayed for about a year, before finding my dream home. At Beeston Juniors in Leeds, I found my drive and motivation, and also improved drastically, under the support of the perfect manager and a great set of teammates, with one striker on the team that I admired for his commitment to the game
Moving To Liverpool 🏴
In late August 2022, I moved to Liverpool with my mum and sisters, where I was on an ESPFA trial with ESPFA Cheshire from October 2022 onwards. I passed said trial, receiving an acceptance later early March 2023, and I have a provisional place at the ESPFA for September 2024. I ended up having a revolutionary season and entering into the semi-professional youth game with Runcorn Linnets (ESPFA & Youth) and Prescot Cables.
My Best Moment 🏆
My career high was earning a MOTM award in a game that I played Left-Back in. My team, Beeston Juniors, lost 4-1, but I put in 2 goal-line clearances, a few saucy slide tackles (defenders will understand), and landed my first, and last, goal for Beeston. This occurred in May 2022, my penultimate game for the club.
A Small Shoutout To Some Heroes Of Mine 🇱🇾 🇬🇭 🇵🇹
My cousin, Salih Trad, plays for Al-Wahda Tripoli SC in the Libyan Premier League 🇱🇾. I am very proud of him and what he has accomplished. 👏
My favourite player, however, is Kevin-Prince Boateng of Ghana 🇬🇭. Since I was a child, I've loved the way he commanded the ball, and practically made the ball work for him. He was the brightest star in a team with prime Alexandre Pato and Andrea Pirlo, alongside (an admittedly past his prime) Ronaldinho Gaúcho.
Fly high, Manuel Ferreira, an old friend and teammate of mine who recently passed away 🕊 🇵🇹
My Current State And Nationality 🇱🇾🏴
I am currently 15 years of age, and I still live in Southern Liverpool. Currently working on my abilities. I am a Libyan national 🇱🇾, with a minute affiliation to my nation of birth, England 🏴. I am a proud Muslim as I have been my whole life. As of July 2023, a Runcorn Linnets player.
